WHAT WE OFFER
Remedial Massage
Derived from the word REMEDY, a remedial massage is a more targeted treatment for pain, injury and/or dysfunction of the muscles or soft tissue and focuses on parts of the body that require rehabilitation. To better understand the underlying cause of your injury, pain or dysfunction we will always start with an assessment of muscles, ligaments, tendons and posture using specific tests.
A targeted massage of that area will then be performed using specific techniques in combination with Myofascial Dry Needling, Cupping and Stretching to treat the area of concern, ease the pain, help repair damaged tissue and improve the overall wellness of the body.
TUI NA - Traditional Chinese Remedial Massage
Tui Na is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) bodywork that dates back centuries. This technique integrates principles from TCM to promote natural self-healing and restore balance within the body. Tui Na functions as both physical bodywork and subtle energy medicine by targeting specific points and areas of the body, aiming to regulate, nourish, and unblock the flow of Qi (vital energy) when necessary.
The name "Tui Na" traditionally refers to two core actions: Tui (to push) and Na (to lift). Additional techniques such as rolling, pressing, brushing, kneading, flame cupping, Gua Sha, and the application of Moxa (Mugwort) may be used to stimulate blood circulation and move Qi.
Feldenkrais Method
The Feldenkrais Method is a unique approach to movement education and body awareness developed by Israeli engineer and physicist Moshe Feldenkrais in the mid 20th-century.
The 2 core principles are Awareness Through Movement and Functional Integration.
Awareness Through Movement (ATM) involves group classes where participants follow verbal instructions to perform various movements.
The aim is to help individuals become more aware of their habitual movement patterns and explore new, more efficient ways of moving. The movements are slow and gentle, allowing participant to notice subtle changes in their body and coordination.
Finctional Integration (FI) is a 1 on 1 session with a qualified practitioner who may use touch and verbal instructions to help the individual explore and recognise their movement patterns and help them to feel and understand different ways to move comfortably and efficiently.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a holistic manual therapy approach where they assess, diagnose and adequately manage musculoskeletal pain and disorders with a combination of manual therapy, lifestyle intervention and exercise prescription. An Osteopath will look at the whole you, in the aim to adequately diagnose root causes of pain, injury and soreness. By focusing on the whole person, Osteopathy will treat different parts of the body, not just the part that feels sore.
Osteopathic treatment includes a range of techniques, including manual therapy, joint mobilisation or manipulation, massage, stretching, dry needling and exercise prescription.
Stretching and Restore Therapy
Stretching and Recovery are important to maintain optimum health. It can help with increasing your range of motion and flexibility, improving your circulation, loosening any tight muscles, easing stiff joints, creating pain and stress relief, reaching your new level of flexibility and well-being.
Assisted stretching involves a technique where a practitioner helps you stretch your muscles beyond what you might achieve on your own. It combines elements of traditional stretching with manual guidance to deepen the stretch, improve flexibility and enhance overall muscle function.

Deep Tissue Massage
Relaxation Massage
Deep tissue massage and relaxation massage are full body massages using strokes, percussion, kneading, tapping and rolling. Both provide a general loosening up, encourage blood flow throughout the body, help boost the immune system by stimulating the lymphatic system and aid with your mental and emotional wellbeing.
The difference between a deep tissue and a relaxation massage is the applied pressure. During a relaxation massage the main focus will be calming the mind and the nervous system and get you relaxed, where as a deep tissue massage will reduce tension and help with recovery from exercise and injuries using a firmer pressure.
